Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Last updated: June 12, 2026
We collect what's needed to make and ship your custom order — your contact and shipping details, your order, and the artwork you upload. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. We don't sell your personal information. Email us anytime to access or delete your data.
1. Information We Collect
- Contact & shipping details — name, email, phone, and addresses you provide at checkout, in your account, or on our quote and contact forms.
- Order information — the products, sizes, colors, and quantities you buy, and your order history.
- Your artwork — logos, images, and design files you upload, plus the product previews generated from them. We store these to produce your order and make reordering easy.
- Payment information — processed by Stripe, our payment provider. Card numbers go directly to Stripe; we receive only confirmation, the card brand, and the last four digits.
- Usage data — device, browser, pages visited, and similar analytics data collected via cookies and similar technologies.
2. How We Use It
- To produce, ship, and support your orders — including sharing artwork and order details with the production partners who decorate your items.
- To send transactional messages: order confirmations, production updates, shipping notices, and responses to your inquiries.
- To save your designs and order history so you can reorder easily.
- To send marketing emails if you've opted in — every one includes an unsubscribe link.
- To improve the Site, prevent fraud, and meet our legal obligations (such as tax records).
3. Who We Share It With
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the business, and only what they need to do their jobs: Stripe (payment processing and sales tax calculation), our production and fulfillment partners (to decorate and pack your order), shipping carriers and shipping-management services (to deliver it), and our email and analytics providers. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights, and as part of a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition. We do not sell your personal information, and we don't share it with third parties for their own advertising.
4. Purchases Through AI Assistants
If you buy our products through an AI shopping assistant (for example, ChatGPT), we receive your order details, contact information, and shipping address from that platform so we can fulfill your purchase, and we send order and shipping status back to it. Your payment is handled through the assistant platform and Stripe using secure payment tokens — we never receive your card details. The assistant platform's own privacy policy governs what it collects from you.
5. Cookies & Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart working, remember your session, and understand how the Site is used. We may use analytics and advertising tools (such as Google Analytics and ad-platform pixels) that set their own cookies; you can limit these through your browser settings, and where required we honor applicable opt-out signals.
6. Data Retention
We keep order records as long as needed for warranty, accounting, and tax purposes. Uploaded artwork and previews are retained so you can reorder; you can ask us to delete them at any time. Account data is kept until you ask us to close your account. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
7. Your Rights & Choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop marketing emails, by contacting us at the address below. Depending on where you live (including California), you may have additional rights — such as the right to know what we collect, the right to deletion, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We'll verify your request and respond within the timeframe required by law.
8. Security & Children's Privacy
All traffic to the Site is encrypted in transit, payment processing is handled by Stripe's PCI-compliant systems, and access to personal data is limited to people who need it to serve you. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your account credentials private. The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information; if you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we'll delete it.
9. Changes & Contact
We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the current version, and material changes will be highlighted on this page. Questions or requests: call 888-957-7223 or email support@specworks.com. You can also review our Terms of Service and Return Policy.
